Saint Benedict makes season debut in United Soccer Coaches Poll

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Saint Benedict women's soccer team (4-0-0, 1-0-0) broke into the Top 25 of the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll on Tuesday, debuting at No. 22 in the nation.

At 4-0, CSB is off to its best start in ten years. The 2007 CSB team began the year with 12 straight wins on its way to a national tournament appearance. Saint Benedict kicked off its 2017 MIAC schedule on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Concordia.

CSB is also ranked second in the North Region by the United Soccer Coaches. Carleton (4-1, 0-1) is No. 4, followed by St. Thomas (4-0-1, 1-0-0) at No. 5. Wisconsin-Whitewater – ranked eighth in the nation – holds the top spot in the Region in the latest Poll.
