BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The cross country programs at Carleton and St. Olaf continued to receive national recognition this week, as the Knights' women's team and Oles' men's and women's teams earned spots in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) Top 35 polls, released on Wednesday.
Ranked No. 11 in the nation again this week, Carleton will return from a rest weekend to compete in the St. Boni Invitational on October 14. The Knights dominated the field their last time out, placing all five scorers in the top-10 of the annual "Running of the Cows" meet.
While the No. 33-ranked St. Olaf men's team took a break last weekend, the 18th-ranked women were busy taking the first six spots at the St. Kate's Invite.
