Christian Hodges stopped all 13 shots he faced in three shutout victories to keep the Auggies not only unbeaten, but unscored upon in the first five games of the 2025 season. Hodges had two saves in 70 minutes of the team's 7-0 win over Northwestern-St. Paul on 9/3. He added two more saves in Augsburg's 2-0 win at Luther, which included staring down a penalty kick attempt that hit the crossbar in the 32nd minute. He went on to tally a season-high nine saves in a 1-0 home win over Wartburg on 9/7, making a pair of dramatic, diving saves on a penalty kick attempt three minutes into the second half.
