Ethan Tun burst onto the scene by winning three individual events in his collegiate debut as Carleton opened the season with a third-place team result at the Augsburg Invitational over the weekend. Tun prevailed in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes as well as the 200-yard individual medley, clocking times of 53.69, 1:59.08, and 1:59.72, respectively. Each of those times lead the MIAC this season, while his 200 back time currently ranks 50th in NCAA Division III. Tun also swam leadoff on the Knights' second-place 200-yard medley relay team, which finished in 1:38.75 for the 49th-fastest time in the nation this year.
