Gutzmer carded six birdies at Division I Illinois State's Weibring G.C. (par 71) during the final round to finish with a 3-under par 68. He tied for the tournament lead with 10 birdies over the two days and led the field across the 21 par-4 holes to win the field by four shots with a 139 (-4).
