Kathryn Kresse set up key goals in victories over St. Scholastica (9/30), Augsburg (10/4), and St. Catherine (10/7) last week. The contest against Augsburg was scoreless until the 72nd minute when Kresse worked free of her defender and sent a cross to an open teammate at the back post for the opening goal in what became a 2-1 triumph. Kresse also set up the eventual game-winning goal against St. Catherine, holding possession against the Wildcats back line until she could find a teammate for an open shot and the deciding goal in another 2-1 win.
