Will Kelly was the individual runner-up to lead the nationally-ranked Oles to the team title in a strong field at the Connecticut College Invitational on 10/14. The senior made it four top-three finishes in as many races this fall by placing second out of 199 runners with a time of 24:17.6, which was a new personal best and the fastest time by a MIAC runner in the meet's history. Kelly's performance moved him up from sixth to fourth on St. Olaf's all-time 8K list and helped the Oles claim the team title in a field that included nine nationally-ranked teams.
