Fiona Smith smashed the course record by more than a minute while also surpassing her own 6K school record in winning the Connecticut College Invite on 10/14 with a time of 19:51.1. It was her fourth consecutive race win and what is believed to be the fastest 6K time by a MIAC women's cross country runner in history. The NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship record at the 6K distance is 20:00.2 and has stood since 2003.
