BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Athlete of the Week award winners for swimming & diving and indoor track & field on Tuesday. Student-athletes from Carleton, Gustavus, Hamline, Saint John's, St. Olaf, and St. Scholastica claimed the Conference's weekly honors.
The MIAC Athlete of the Week awards are nominated by the Conference's sports information directors and selected by MIAC staff. Throughout the winter season, team sports (basketball and hockey) Athletes of the Week will be recognized on Monday afternoons, with individual sports (swimming & diving and indoor track & field) announced on Tuesday afternoons. The winners of the latest Athlete of the Week awards are listed below, along with details on their outstanding performances.

MIAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week

Brayden Slavik claimed first place in three individual events by a combined 1:00.88 in the Johnnies dual meet with Division II St. Cloud State on 1/18. Slavik came away with first-place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.36), 500-yard freestyle (4:44.39), and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:48.01).

Hans Anderson took top honors on both boards during the Knights' dual meet with Gustauvs on 1/17. He posted a winning six-dive score of 254.15 on the lower board, prevailing by more than 30 points. He further separated himself from the competition on the 3-meter board, as Anderson's tally of 285.15 points was good for an NCAA Regional qualifying score and was more than 100 points better than the next-closest competitor.

Stella Anderson Moye took first in three events in the Gusties' 167-133 dual victory over Carleton on 1/17. Anderson Moye won the 200 freestyle in 2:00.91, the 100 freestyle in 55.44, and was a part of the winning 200 freestyle relay that took first in 1:40.97. She added a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle in 5:32.40.
MIAC Women's Diving Athlete of the Week

Nina Schwab finished first on both the 1- and 3-meter diving boards at the Knights' dual meet with Gustavus on 1/17. At the lower height, Schwab scored 253.45 points for her six dives. She tallied 255.60 points on the 3-meter board.
MIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Lars DeWall

Stillwater, Minn.
Lars DeWall set program and facility records in the 3000-meter run with a winning time of 8:24.32 at the Twin Ports Open on 1/18. His time is the sixth-fastest in NCAA Division III this season.

Trent Beseth set a new program record in the shot put with a distance of 17.15 meters (56' 3.25") at the Twin Ports Open on 1/18. His distance is the second-best in D-III this season.
MIAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Isabel Wyatt ran the top 800-meter time in NCAA Division III this season at the Ole Opener on 1/18. Wyatt won the race by more than three seconds with a time of 2:13.46, which ranks second on St. Olaf's all-time list.

Lexi Brainer won the weight throw competition at the St. Thomas Indoor Invitational on 1/17 with a distance of 16.70 meters (54' 9.5"). The throw ranks 15th in NCAA Division III this season and is fifth all-time in program history.
