BJ Pickard Women's Cross Country 11/26/2025 2:00:00 PM Knights’ Preisser repeats as USTFCCCA Region Athlete of the Year | USTFCCCA Athletes of the Year | USTFCCCA All-Region | NEW ORLEANS – For the second year in a row, Carleton senior Hannah Preisser has been selected as the North Region Athlete of the Year for NCAA Division III women’s cross country, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Tuesday. Preisser (Sr. / Chapel Hill, N.C. / Carborro) won individual titles at the North Region Championships, the St. Olaf Invitational, and the MIAC Preview in 2025. Preisser was also the conference runner-up at the MIAC Championships and placed sixth at the Connecticut College Invitational. Preisser ended her season by placing 119th at the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Preisser led 15 women’s runners from the MIAC to receive All-Region distinction this fall. Preisser and St. Olaf senior Lauren Walda received All-Region honors for the fourth time in their collegiate careers, while Carleton’s Aliya Larsen became a three-time honoree. Gustavus’ Molly Liston and Macalester’s Kate Fox earned All-Region recognition for the second year in a row. Athletes must finish in the top-35 at the regional meet to be named All-Region.
