The MIAC has had 45 players selected to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team since its inception in 1992, the third-most among any college athletic conference in the nation, behind only the SEC (91) and ACC (58). The 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team will be invited to New Orleans to participate in a special community service project ahead of the 2026 Allstate Sugar Bowl, where the entire team will also be recognized on the field at halftime on New Year's Day.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Football Hall of Fame honored former Saint John’s wide receiver Blake Elliott with an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments®, at halftime of the Johnnies’ season opener on 9/13.
