BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The 2016 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Swimming and Diving Championships are less than a month away, and fans can prepare for one of the league's most exciting events by pre-ordering official 2016 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championship apparel.

The MIAC has partnered with Elsmore Swim Shop to create an online ordering store and several great apparel choices for the 2016 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Student-athletes, families, alumni and fans can pre-order and pay for championship merchandise online: http://www.elsmoreswim.com/index.php?tid=249.

In addition, fans can designate which institution they belong to for free delivery of their merchandise to the event, which will be held Feb. 19-21 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. There is also an option to have the order shipped to a location other than the championships site, for an additional cost. 

Through the MIAC's partnership with Elsmore, there will be a very limited number of short sleeve t-shirts available for on-site sale at the 2016 Championships. However, the cost will be higher, sizes will be limited and there will be only one style available, so fans interested in purchasing merchandise are encouraged to use the pre-order option to ensure the correct size and apparel options.

The online store includes a short-sleeve T-shirt, a long-sleeve T-shirt, men's and women's Under Armour quarter-zip pullovers, and a Nike baseball hat. All items include the 2016 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships logo, and proceeds will be used to offset championship costs.

The 2016 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships will feature two sessions each day with prelims starting at 10:30 a.m. and championship sessions at 6:30 p.m. Macalester College and St. Olaf College will serve as the championship host schools.
