JORDAN, Minn. – The opening round of the 2019 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship has been postponed due to excessive rain.

Overnight and early morning rainfall left standing water on fairways and greens, rendering the Ridges at Sand Creek championship course unplayable on Saturday.

The three-day championship tournament will now be played over two days with the opening round of the 54-hole event beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and the final 36 holes coming on Monday. Rounds 2 and 3 will commence on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. More details on Monday's pairings and tee times will be available over the weekend.
