MIAC men's hockey players pick up national honors

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- A trio of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's hockey players received national honors for their play during the 2024-25 season.

St. Olaf senior defender Connor Kalthoff was named First Team All-America by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) and selected All-DIIIHockeyNews.com First Team, in addition to a Second Team All-USCHO selection. Kalthoff and Bethel junior forward Tyler Braccini - a Second Team AHCA All-American - were also named finalists for the Sid Watson Award.

St. Scholastica first-year defender Wyatt Wurst received Second Team AHCA All-America honors and was named to the DIIIHockeyNews.com All-Rookie Team, in addition to an All-DIIIHockeyNews.com Second Team distinction.
