BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its annual academic awards this week and more than 100 student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) were recognized.
The men's and women's teams from Bethel, Carleton, Gustavus, Hamline, Macalester, St. Olaf, and St. Scholastica, along with Saint John's men's team and Saint Benedict and St. Catherine women's team were all named an All-Academic Team by the ITA. These programs each had a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale)
A total of 138 individuals from the MIAC were also honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes. These student-athletes each recorded a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
