Baseball 1/19/2026 9:00:00 AM Two from MIAC named to D3baseball.com Preseason All-America squads BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- A pair of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) baseball standouts have been selected to D3baseball.com's Preseason All-America Teams, released on January 14. Gustavus junior outfielder Brayden Kohls and Carleton senior pitcher and infielder Will Schnepf were named to the Second and Third Team, respectively. Kohls (Norwood, Minn. / Norwood Young America) led the Gusties in batting average with a .416 clip and finished 11-for-14 on stolen base attempts to go along with a .990 fielding percentage in centerfield last season. Schnepf (Dallas, Texas / Parish Episcopal) was selected as a utility player thanks to his 1.84 earned-run average, 1.02 WHIP, and .378 batting average during the 2025 campaign. The 2026 season is set to begin for MIAC squads with non-conference contests in mid-February. The first round of conference play is slated for Saturday, March 28, with the four-team conference playoffs set to return to CHS Field in St. Paul on May 7-9.
