Men's Basketball 7/16/2026 7:00:00 PM MIAC men's hoops teams, athletes earn academic honors from NABC KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has recognized six men's basketball teams from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and 27 student-athletes from the league for excellence in the classroom. Among the institutions honored with Team Academic Excellence awards were Augsburg University, Carleton College, Concordia College, Hamline University, Saint John's University, and St. Olaf College. Team Academic Excellence Awards honor outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better during the 2025-26 season. In order to earn the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions in the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA must count the GPA of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2024-25 season. The NABC also recognized 27 men's basketball student-athletes from the MIAC with Honors Court distinction.
