Softball 8/13/2026 7:00:00 AM NFCA honors MIAC softball players, teams with academic awards LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) honored 152 student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) on Wednesday as Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. | 2026 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes | 2026 NFCA Top 25 Team GPA | The 152 individual MIAC student-athletes were among 8,850 softball players nationwide to earn Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors. NCAA Division III had a total of 2,491 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2025-26. Macalester College (3.718) and The College of St. Scholastica (3.68) also ranked among the top 25 in the nation for team GPA. The Scots ranked No. 11 in NCAA Division III for the 2025-26 academic year, while the Saints tied for No. 25.
