MIAC Women's Soccer Playoffs set to begin Monday

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The matchups are set for the 2025 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Soccer Playoffs.

Though no seeds had been claimed when the day began, when the dust had settled, St. Catherine (10-1-0) and Carleton (9-1-1) secured first-round byes for the fourth consecutive postseason. The Wildcats will be the No. 1 seed after locking up their third regular-season crown in the last five years, while Carleton - responsible for the only blemish on St. Kate's conference record - will be the No. 2 seed.

No. 3 St. Olaf (8-1-2) will host No. 6 Saint Mary's (4-4-3) in the quarterfinal round at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, while No. 4 Augsburg (6-4-1) will welcome No. 5 Macalester (5-4-2) at 7:30 p.m. that night.

The two quarterfinal winners will advance to Thursday's semifinals, where No. 1 St. Catherine and No. 2 Carleton will be waiting. The bracket will re-seed following the first round, matching up the lowest remaining seed against the top-seeded Wildcats, while the Knights will welcome the higher seed. The semifinal contests are tentatively scheduled for 2:00 p.m. kickoffs.

Thursday's two semifinal winners will meet on Saturday, November 8, in the 2025 MIAC Women's Soccer Playoff championship game. The game is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The MIAC Playoff champion will receive the playoff championship trophy and the Conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.

All tickets for the 2025 MIAC Playoffs will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing. There will not be cash sales at any venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device, including while at the venue. Tickets are available for purchase immediately. General admission adult tickets are $12 (plus HTT service charge). Student (with ID) tickets are $3 (plus HTT service charge), and children ages five and under are admitted free. As a reminder, artificial noisemakers are not permitted at any MIAC events.

The 2025 MIAC Women's Soccer Playoffs will be streamed live on the MIAC Sports Network in a pay-per-view format. Individual playoff contests will be streamed for $10 each, or $25 for a "championship pass" to stream the entire tournament live.
