NO. 3 ST. OLAF 1, NO. 6 SAINT MARY'S 0 | Box Score |
Junior midfielder Wren VanDeWalker connected off the crossbar less than a minute into the second half for what we become the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory for No. 3 St. Olaf over No. 6 Saint Mary's to open the MIAC Women's Soccer Playoffs on Monday afternoon in Northfield. The goal was VanDeWalker's fourth of the season. The program's career assists leader, Cat Duffy-Shaw, was credited with the helper, extending her St. Olaf record to 22 assists in four seasons and nine in 2025 - the most among all MIAC players. First-year goalkeeper Charlotte Percy picked up her ninth clean sheet of the season with a saveless 90-minute shutout. Saint Mary's senior goalkeeper Anna Peckosh, who finished the season allowing one goal or less in each of her last four appearances, made two saves and allowed the lone goal in the loss.

The Oles will not have to travel far for their semifinal contest, as St. Olaf will take on No. 2 seed Carleton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two squads faced off in a 1-1 draw at St. Olaf to open the conference schedule back on 9/16. Carleton won the only previous playoff matchup against St. Olaf, 3-1, in the 2022 conference semifinals.

NO. 4 AUGSBURG 2, NO. 5 MACALESTER 1 | Box Score |
The Auggies are headed back to the MIAC semifinals for the second time in the last three seasons after defeating No. 5-seed Macalester, 2-1, on Monday night in Minneapolis. All three goals came in the second half. Abby Rosebur got the Auggies on the board first with a goal in the 69th minute before Allison Hookom tallied what became the game-winner with just over seven minutes to play. Macalester would not go away quietly, though, as Erica Hamilton scored in the 87th minute to cut the deficit in half. Augsburg was able to fend off the late rally, setting up a date with the regular-season MIAC champions in the conference semifinals on Thursday.

Augsburg will match up with top-seed St. Catherine in the semifinals on Thursday. The programs are an even 1-1 in postseason meetings; the Auggies earned a 2-0 win in the 2015 MIAC quarterfinals while the Wildcats answered with a 1-0 victory in the 2017 conference semifinals. St. Kate's claimed a 2-0 win in the regular season matchup on 9/27. The semifinal contest is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start on Thursday.

SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS SET FOR THURSDAY
The Oles and Auggies advanced to Thursday's semifinals, where they will clash with No. 1 St. Catherine and No. 2 Macalester. The Wildcats will host No. 4 Augsburg, while the Knights will square off with their crosstown rivals one more time. Both games are tentatively scheduled for 2:00 p.m. kickoffs.

Thursday's two semifinal winners will meet on Saturday, November 8, in the 2025 MIAC Women's Soccer Playoff championship game. The game is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The MIAC Playoff champion will receive the postseason championship trophy and the conference's automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.
