Seven MIAC men’s soccer players receive United Soccer Coaches All-America honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seven men’s soccer players from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) received All-America honors from United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced on Thursday.
 
Augsburg senior forward Carver Tierney (Buffalo, Minn. / Buffalo) and St. Olaf junior midfielder Ryan Bechtel (Plainfield, Ill. / North) were selected First Team All-America, while Macalester senior forward Ondieki Maina (Kensington, Calif. / El Cerrito), Macalester junior midfielder Kasden Blattman (San Jose, Calif. / Bellarmine), St. Olaf senior midfielder Robi Buzakovic (Bismarck, N.D. / Shattuck-St. Mary’s), Augsburg senior midfielder Mitchel Munzing (Portland, Ore. / Grant), and Augsburg first-year goalkeeper Christian Hodges (New Albany, Ohio / Tree of Life Christian School) were all named to the Second Team.
 
The seven All-America selections were also among 21 men’s soccer players from the MIAC who received All-Region honors from United Soccer Coaches in November.
