In addition to the 1,055 student-athletes inducted from MIAC teams, another 51 student-athletes from MIAC institutions, who competed in sports not currently sponsored by the conference (alpine skiing, nordic skiing, dance, gymnastics, lacrosse, and wrestling), also earned induction. Since 2019, more than 2,000 MIAC student-athletes have been inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society. Augsburg University was the first MIAC institution accepted into Chi Alpha Sigma and inducted an inaugural class of 100 Auggies who met the athletic and academic qualifications of the honor society during the 2019-20 academic year. St. Catherine University and The College of St. Scholastica joined Chi Alpha Sigma the following year, with the College of Saint Benedict and St. Olaf College being admitted in 2021-22, and Carleton College coming on board in 2022-23.
