NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Bethel claimed its fourth consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) men's indoor track & field championship on Saturday afternoon in Northfield.
The Royals scored 167 points and finished with a 22-point margin of victory at the 2026 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The MIAC extends its gratitude to the coaches and staff at Carleton College for their outstanding efforts in hosting the 2026 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

RECORD BREAKERS
-Concordia senior Cooper Folkstad broke the championship and facility records in the men's shot put with a throw of 18.54 meters (60' 10").
-Saint John's junior Cole Stencel set a new championship meet record in the men's mile with a time of 4:10.26.
-Bethel senior Landen Liu set a new facility record in the men's 55 meters with a prelim time of 6.30. He ran a 6.31 in finals.
-Bethel first-year Logan Swanson ran a 7.61 in the prelims of the men's 55-meter hurdles to set a new facility record.
-Bethel senior Grant Nelson set a new facility record in the men's 400 meters with a time of 48.75. He also broke the facility record in the men's 200 meters with a time of 21.91.
-St. Olaf senior Kevin Turlington set the facility mark in the men's 3K with a time of 8:16.34.
-Bethel's 4x200 relay team set a new facility record with a time of 1:28.36.
-The Royals' 4x400 relay team set new championship and facility records in the event with a time of 3:18.48.
-St. Olaf also set a new facility mark in the men's distance medley relay with a time of 10:15.94.
AWARDS
The top three finishers in each event automatically earn All-Conference honors, and the 4th-through-6th place finishers receive Honorable Mention distinction. Individual awards will be voted on by coaches following the meet and will be announced next week.

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2026 NCAA Division III Championships are scheduled for March 13-14, 2026, at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. Qualifiers will be announced on March 8 on NCAA.com.
