Outdoor Track & Field 4/29/2026 10:00:00 AM MIAC Multi-Event Championships begin on Thursday NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The 2026 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set to get underway at noon on Thursday with the start of the decathlon and heptathlon events at Laird Stadium on the campus of Carleton College. The MIAC Multis kick off two consecutive weekends of conference championship competition for men's and women's track & field teams. MIAC men's competitors will participate in the 100-meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, and 400-meter dash on Thursday afternoon, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Women's multi-event athletes will compete in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, and 200-meter dash, beginning at 12:45 p.m. The Multi-Event Championships will conclude on Friday, May 1. Friday's action will begin at 10:30 a.m. The meet record for the women's heptathlon is 5,132 points, set by former Carleton standout Amelia Campbell at the 2014 MIAC Championships, while former St. Thomas competitor Erik Rosenkranz's record of 7,198 points has stood since the 1995 MIAC Championships.
