WINONA, Minn. — On Monday, Oct. 31, Saint Mary's University head men's soccer coach Corbin Bowers stepped down after six years at the helm — preceded by one year as assistant coach for the men's and women's programs — as announced by Saint Mary's Athletic Director Brian Sisson.
"Corbin's mentoring and dedication has impacted the lives of many men's soccer student-athletes throughout his time as coach," Sisson said. "We're thankful for all he has done for our student-athletes and university and wish him well."
During his tenure, the men's soccer program compiled a 30-56-8 overall record, including a 9-38-4 mark in conference play.
"It's been a true honor to coach amazing student-athletes who are overall wonderful individuals and to have a positive impact on their lives," said Bowers. "I'm proud of my time as coach of the Cardinals, and have many great memories that I will carry with me."
Saint Mary's will begin a national search for Bower's successor immediately.
"We look forward to finding a coach who will move Saint Mary's men's soccer program forward and assist in the overall development of our student-athletes" said Sisson.
