MIAC swimmers selected for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Three swimmers from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) have been selected to compete at the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
Macalester senior Verity Wray-Raabolle was selected for the women’s 100 backstroke (55.17) and will also participate in the 50 and 100 freestyles, while Saint John’s junior Brayden Slavik made the cut in the men’s 1650 freestyle (15:32.98) and will also swim in the 500 free and 400 individual medley, and Gustavus sophomore Braden Ripken was selected for the 100 breaststroke (54.46) and will swim in the 50 freestyle and 200 breaststroke as well.
 
The 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships will be held March 19-22 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference and the Greensboro Aquatic Center will serve as hosts. A total of 579 participants (526 swimmers and 53 divers) will compete in the championships.
 
Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events they entered. Divers will be determined by performances achieved at the regional diving meets from February 28 - March 1. Six MIAC divers qualified for the regional championships.

The complete list of all swimmers competing in the championships is available at www.usaswimming.org/ncaa. Selected divers will be added to the website on Monday, March 3.
