NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The annual Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) multi-event competitions are in the books, and after two intense days of action, Concordia's Jenna Kalevik and Saint John's Max Lelwica earned conference championships in the heptathlon and decathlon, respectively.

Kalevik won the MIAC title in the heptathlon competition with a total of 4,489 points. The Cobber senior won the 100-meter hurdles (14.81) and 200-meter dash (26.23) to go along with a runner-up result in the high jump (1.50m, 4' 11"), and third-place finishes in the long jump (5.02m, 16' 5.75"), javelin throw (30.68m, 100' 8"), and 800-meter run (2:34.50). Saint Benedict's Justus Floren placed second in the women's multi-event competition with 4,451 points, followed by Concordia's Peyton Selle in third with 4,442 points.
Lelwica took home decathlon honors with 6,905 points after winning six events and placing among the top four in all ten. Lelwica won the 110-meter hurdles (15.17), 400-meter dash (50.31), discus throw (39.29m, 128' 11"), high jump (1.89m, 6' 2.25"), long jump (6.48m, 21' 3.25"), and pole vault (4.20m, 13' 9.25"). St. Olaf's Andrew Cogley was the decathlon runner-up with 6,414 points, followed by SJU's Anthony Thurk in third with 6,378 points.
The conclusion of the multi-event competitions signals the beginning of the second half of the Outdoor Championships, which will take place next Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, at Macalester College in St. Paul. The MIAC has a homepage dedicated to the 2025 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be updated with event schedules, entries, heat sheets, and links to follow the action live on the MIAC Sports Network and via real-time results. Results and recaps of the Championships will be made available throughout the event.
Daily tickets are required to attend the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. All tickets will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing. There will not be cash sales at the venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device at any time, including while at the venue. Tickets are available for purchase on the MIAC's HomeTown Ticketing site.
Single-day adult tickets will be $12, and student tickets are $3. (Note: additional HomeTown Ticketing convenience and credit card fees will be added during checkout, with estimated totals being $13.70 for adult / $4.43 for student per single-day ticket.) Children ages five and under do not require a ticket. Those eligible for student tickets include individuals currently enrolled in college, high school, middle school, and elementary school. Student ID is required where applicable.
