Four from MIAC earn Academic All-America honors

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Four track & field/cross country student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) earned Academic All-America honors from College Sports Communicators this week.
 
Bethel senior sprinter Grant Nelson received Second Team honors, while Saint John’s junior distance runner Cole Stencel joined St. Olaf seniors Kevin Turlington and Isabel Wyatt as Third Team honorees.
 
MIAC student-athletes have now totaled 633 Academic All-America honors since 1967, with 22 coming during the 2025-26 academic year. An all-time list of Academic All-Americans from the MIAC can be found here.
