ST. PAUL, Minn. – The 2025 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set to get underway on Friday, as twelve women's teams from around the league will compete in the two-day meet held at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships officially kicked off last week with the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon competitions held at Carleton College. This weekend's action will begin on Friday afternoon with field events starting at 2:00 p.m. and track events beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's events are scheduled for a noon start with the final set of events - the women's and men's 4x400 relay - running at 5:10 p.m.
FOLLOW THE ACTION
The MIAC has a homepage dedicated to the 2025 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, complete with the event schedule, entries, heat sheets, and links to follow the action. Championship events will be streamed live on the MIAC Sports Network. Results and recaps of the Championships will be made available throughout the event.
Daily tickets are required to attend the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. All tickets will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing. There will not be cash sales at the venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device at any time, including while at the venue. Tickets are available for purchase on the MIAC's HomeTown Ticketing site.
Single-day adult tickets will be $12, and student tickets are $3. (Note: additional HomeTown Ticketing convenience and credit card fees will be added during checkout, with estimated totals being $13.70 for adult / $4.43 for student per single-day ticket.) Children ages five and under do not require a ticket. Those eligible for student tickets include individuals currently enrolled in college, high school, middle school, and elementary school. Student ID is required where applicable.

HANDING OUT THE HARDWARE
MIAC championship plaques will be presented to the first-place women's and men's teams at the conclusion of the meet on Saturday afternoon. Bethel swept both the men's and women's championships in 2024.
In addition to team awards, the top three finishers in each event will automatically earn All-Conference honors, while the fourth-through-sixth place finishers will be named Honorable Mention.
Individual awards will be voted on by coaches following the meet and will be announced, along with the complete list of All-Conference and honorable mention recipients, next week.

Bethel leads all MIAC teams in the USTFCCCA's most recent regional rankings, released on Tuesday, May 6. The MIAC has four squads - Bethel (No. 6), Gustavus (No. 8), St. Olaf (No. 9), and Concordia (No. 10) - in the North Region's top 10 this week.
NATIONAL NOTABLES
Bethel graduate student Kelsie Sealock (Plymouth, Minn. | Osseo) has the third-fastest 100-hurdles time in NCAA Division III this season at 13.80 (4/23).
Bethel sophomore Shalom Sulungaine (Blaine, Minn.) broke her own program record in the 400-meter dash at the Meet of the UnSaintly on 4/30 with a time of 55.03, a time that ranks sixth in NCAA Division III this season.
Bethel's 4x400-meter relay team of junior Sarah Stellmach (Mahtomedi, Minn.), graduate student Abbie Swenson (Woodbury, MInn. | New Life Academy), senior Hailey Gregg (Colorado Springs, Colo. | Air Academy), and sophomore Shalom Sulungaine (Blaine, Minn.) ran the sixth-fastest time in D-III this season at 3:46.51 (4/23).
Gustavus senior Megan Geraets (Mankato, Minn. | East) boasts two top-10 marks and three in the top-20 of NCAA Division III this spring. Geraets' 400 time of 54.34 (4/26) ranks third in the country, while her 200 time of 23.96 (5/3) ranks sixth, and her long jump distance of 5.82 (19' 1.25") on 5/3 is good for 18th in D-III.
Macalester first-year Ariella Rogahn-Press (Albuquerque, N.M. | Bosque School) ran the second-fastest 400-meter time in NCAA Division III this season at 54.30 on 4/18.
DEFENDING THE CROWN
Bethel graduate student Kelsie Sealock (Plymouth, Minn. | Osseo) is the reigning MIAC champion in both the 100- and 400-meter hurdles. Sealock won the 100 hurdles in 13.91 last spring and the 400 hurdles in 1:01.85.
Bethel junior Nora Wilhelm (Maplewood, Minn. | Concordia Academy) won the MIAC title in the discus with a toss of 41.37 meters in 2023.
Carleton senior Sophie McManus (McCall, Idaho | McCall-Donnelly) won the 2024 MIAC championship in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:45.10.
Concordia sophomore Genevieve Gruba (Enderlin, N.D.) won the conference championship in the javelin throw with a heave of 39.80 meters last spring.
Concordia senior Jenna Kalevik (Otsego, Minn. | Rogers) is the reigning MIAC high jump champion, having cleared 1.58 meters in 2024.
Gustavus senior Kate Carlson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn. | Simley) is the defending MIAC champ in the 100-meter dash, having won the conference title in 2024 with a time of 11.85.
Gustavus sophomore Olivia Duncan (Savage, Minn. | Prior Lake) won the 2024 conference title in the discus with a throw of 43.85 meters.
Gustavus senior Megan Geraets (Mankato, Minn. | East) is the two-time defending MIAC champion in the 400-meter dash with a winning time of 58.14 in 2023 and 55.88 in 2024. Geraets also won the 200-meter dash in 2024 with a time of 23.97.
Saint Benedict junior Jaylyn Ahlberg (Shoreview, Minn. | Mounds View) is the defending conference champion in the pole vault. Ahlberg cleared 3.71 meters at the 2024 MIAC Outdoor Championships.
AROUND THE MIAC
Augsburg junior Allison Hookom (Anoka, Minn.) set an outdoor personal-best 56.27-second time in the 400 meters at the Bethel University Invitational on 4/12. The time now ranks 33rd in NCAA Division III.
Bethel graduate student Kelsie Sealock (Plymouth, Minn. | Osseo) was the top Division III finisher in the 100-meter hurdles at the Gary Wilson Invitational on 4/23, crossing the finish line in 13.80. Competing in the event for the first time in eleven months, Sealock ran what is now the third-fastest time in D-III this season.
Carleton senior Sophie McManus (McCall, Idaho | McCall-Donnelly) was the runner-up in the 25-runner field for the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Mangrum Invitational hosted by Cal State San Marcos on 3/28. McManus covered the distance in 10:50.93, the second-fastest time of her career behind her 2024 MIAC title performance. A day later, McManus established a new PR in the 1500-meter run, clocking a time of 4:44.59 to place third overall in the field of 40 runners, 28 of whom compete for NCAA D-I programs.
Concordia senior Jenna Kalevik (Otsego, Minn. | Rogers) won the MIAC heptathlon on 5/1-2 with 4,489 points. Kalevik's point total is sixth on the program's all-time list and ranks No.18 in NCAA Division III this season. She is the seventh Cobber to win the MIAC multi-event title.
Gustavus senior Megan Geraets (Mankato, Minn. | East) set program records in both the 200-meter and long jump at the Ole Open on 5/3. Geraets won the 200-meter with a lifetime best 23.96, which ranks first in the MIAC, second in the region, and sixth in Division III this season. Geraets also won the long jump with a wind-legal lifetime best mark of 5.82 meters (19' 1.25"), which ranks first in the MIAC, second in the region, and 18th in the country.
Hamline senior Lexi Brainer (Lakeville, Minn. | South) made finals for both the hammer and discus throws at the Pipers' Meet of the UnSaintly on 4/30. Brainer's collegiate-best hammer throw of 51.61 meters (169' 4") ranks 29th in D-III.
Macalester first-year Ariella Rogahn-Press (Albuquerque, N.M. | Bosque School) broke two program records at the Georgia Tech Invitational on 4/19 in Atlanta. Her time of 54.30 in the 400 meters ranks second in NCAA Division III this year and 23rd all-time in Division III history. She also posted a time of 24.55 in the 200 meters, which is 34th in Division III this spring. Both times topped the program records of 55.53 and 24.93.
Saint Benedict senior Justus Floren (Sauk Rapids, Minn. | Sauk Rapids-Rice) placed among the top three in six of the seven events at the MIAC Heptathlon on 5/1-2. Floren was the overall runner-up for the women's multi-events with a personal-best 4,451 points. Her javelin throw of 35.26 meters (115' 8") was tops in the field.
St. Catherine graduate student Gabby Bodin (Minneapolis, Minn. | Osseo) was the runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles at the Ole Open on 5/3 with a time of 15.91.
Saint Mary's first-year Zari Young (Chicago, Ill. | Holy Trinity) set a program record in her last appearance on the track, winning the 100-meter dash at the Janis Rider Invitational on 4/26 with a time of 12.10. Young was also part of the Cardinals' victorious 4x100-meter relay team that won in 48.70.
St. Olaf senior Alison Bode (Minneapolis, Minn. | Southwest) won the 5,000-meter run at the Meet of the UnSaintly on 4/30 and was the runner-up in the 1,500-meter run at the Ole Open on 5/3. Bode ran the MIAC's fastest time this season (17:04.08) to win the 5K, a time that ranks fourth on St. Olaf's all-time list and in the top 40 nationally. She added a top-10 program time and the second-best time in the conference this season (4:35.42) in the 1,500-meter run.
St. Scholastica junior Ella Stritesky (Rogers, Minn.) posted a personal-best distance of 52.45 meters (172' 1") in the hammer throw at the Maverick Open on 5/2. The throw ranks 20th in NCAA Division III this season.
