MIAC golf squads earn WGCA All-Scholar Team honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) recently announced its 2024-25 All-Scholar Team GPA Award winners, recognizing the women’s collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.

Three teams from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) were recognized among the top 15 in the nation. Gustavus had the ninth-highest cumulative GPA in the Division III (3.798), while Saint Benedict was 13th (3.769), and St. Olaf was 15th (3.740). Ithaca led D-III with a cumulative team GPA of 3.917.

About the Women’s Golf Coaches Association
The Women’s Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 700 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
