ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College rising senior Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) carded a course-record 66 in a practice round at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn., on Saturday, Aug. 23. Lengfelder's score was achieved while playing from the "I" tees, which total 5,521 yards.

Lengfelder's record of 66 is the lowest score on record at Braemar from any set of tees. Her round featured nine birdies and a score of 30 on the front nine. This past spring Lengfelder carded a 30 on the back nine of the final round at the Gustavus Spring Invite at Emerald Greens in Hastings, Minn., leading the Scots to the team title while finishing second overall individually.

Since arriving at Macalester, Lengfelder has earned All-MIAC honors three times while finishing in the top six at the MIAC Championships each year. Also a three-time All-Region selection, she shot a school-record 70 twice last season and also holds the program marks for 36- and 54-hole scores. Over 20 rounds and 10 events in 2024-25, Lengfelder maintained a stroke average of 76.7, the lowest average of her three seasons at Macalester.

Lengfelder and the Scots open the 2025-26 campaign on Saturday and Sunday, April 30-31 at the Saint Benedict Invitational at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell, Minn.
